Here's an awkward one. It's the first(and forgotten) film from Todd Solondz, who brought us Welcome to the Dollhouse, Happiness, and Storytelling. I watched this movie and I'm still not quite sure what it was about. A guy trying to be a writer, something like that. Anyway, Solondz stars in it and tries to be Woody Allen but doesn't really pull it off. However, the continuous surge of death and suicide jokes are morbid yet quite entertaining. It is truly "The Triple Threat of Love." Or something like that. |
